Maddy presented her honors economics thesis at Union on Friday, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa on Saturday morning. Here's she's about to learn the secret handshake. She wants to use both hands, as beginners often do, but her wise old father gives a subtle clue by concealing his left hand.

First, you buy a tree from the neighborhood nursery; next, you dig a hole; and, then you find a big rock so you make the hole bigger; and, finally, you put the tree in the hole and add water. When the hard work is done, you go to Rota Springs for an ice cream! How do you like them apples?

Getting Old

My 40^th class reunion (college not high school) is coming up at the end of the month! My fraternity brothers and I will be gathering at the Boynton Pub for an 'early bird special' - 10 AM. You know that your getting old when the person setting up the reservations was asked 'will you be needing wheel chair access for the party?'

Now that I'm getting older it is time to get out one of the few project plans that Dad never completed.

I'm putting this one on my Bucket list....

This could be your husband's next project! One hole or Two - Decorating tips, deodorizing, reading materials, etc. This is the whole enchilada! Did you know that you could upgrade your out building to one and a half holes and still only be taxed for one! (and with some of your half @##&'d relatives this might be a great solution.)
